Question from KevinC
I am curious about getting a background check out of Hawaii. It’s my understanding that the island law enforcement don’t always communicate with one another and there isn’t a central database for checking criminal backgrounds in the State of Hawaii. How do I get a Hawaii background check?
Answer from Background-Check.us.com
Like the rest of the United States, Hawaii reports their criminal records and those records are accessible to the public. We’re not aware of any lack of communication in Hawaii and the records collected from each courthouse in the State of Hawaii are stored in our client’s central database.
Once you set up a free account, you can search the entire State of Hawaii for an individual’s criminal history. Including but not limited to: felony records, misdemeanor offenses, sex offender database access and also arrests and convictions that happened in Hawaii.
There is a small charge for accessing the database. However, your background check search results will be displayed instantly on your computer screen and doing your own Hawaiian background checks is absolutely discreet.
