Question from QueenTeenANYC
I seem to have the same problem a lot of people do on here. I met a guy online, and if he’s not “the one” he is a very close facsimile. I live in NY and he lives in Colorado and we met through an online dating service where you have to answer about 20-pages of questions to really screen your personality. Those questionnaires must really work because I met someone perfect but there are a few things about him that make me wonder if he’s truly honest with me about his past.
We were discussing jobs and I realized when I wrote down the dates he gave me there is a pretty bold 5-yr gap in his employment and he will not tell me what was going with him during that 5-yr gap. He just said it had to do with a bad relationship and that’s all he will say. Plus he takes the bus everywhere. I’m all for public transportation, but he mentioned in one of our conversations how great it would be when I move to Colorado because I have a car – no mention of him getting a vehicle or driving. I really need to put my mind at ease – how do I do a background check in Colorado from NY without him knowing?
Answer from Background-Check.us.com
You’re smart to run a background check. Large, noticeable gaps in employment can mean a lot of things from drug or alcohol issues or even incarceration. Doing a background check in Colorado is easy. You just need to set up a free account at our vendor and then choose to search the State of Colorado. You will have instant access to the database with millions upon millions of records and this information is updated frequently. Another good thing about doing your background check online is you’re not limited to the State of Colorado. You can do a nationwide search and find out if there have been issues in any other state. You will search for felonies, misdemeanors, sex offender records, arrests and convictions all at once. The results will be displayed on your computer screen and the person that you’re doing the background check on will not be notified of your search.
